About this performance

Be completely enveloped in the sound of the MSO with this immersive musical experience for orchestra, drums, singing bowls, and voice at Melbourne Town Hall. Centred around the concept of peace in all its forms, acclaimed composer Katy Abbott’s Peace Concerto places the audience at the centre of the work – think surround-sound, non-traditional seating, and a curated, intimate space to invite a reflective experience.

Conducted by Cybec Assistant Conductor Carlo Antonioli and directed by award-winning Emma Muir-Smith, this performance features a stellar line up of multidisciplinary artists Australian artists, including the mesmerising, fluid drumming of David Jones, Carmen Warrington’s dulcet narration and singing bowls, and a quartet of brilliant singers.
