Most Melbourne Symphony Orchestra tickets can be purchased through this website, via phone or at the event venue. Head to each event page to purchase tickets online, or call (03) 9929 9600 (Mon - Fri, 10am - 6pm) to speak to the MSO Box Office.
All ticket purchases are finalised once payment is received, and no refunds can be made after this time unless an event is cancelled, rescheduled or significantly re-located. Please review our Terms and Conditions for more information.
Most tickets purchased through the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra may be exchanged to attend another performance within the same concert season, for a fee, by contacting the MSO Box Office. For more information about exchanging your tickets see our Terms & Conditions.

Yes. Any attendee under 18 years of age is eligible for a child ticket.
We also offer a student membership program which provides students 18 years or older access to discounted tickets. It’s free to register.
Alternatively, if you’re aged between 18 and 35, our Friends of the MSO Under 35s membership offers access to discounted tickets to a range of concerts throughout the year, plus other benefits.
Concessions are available for:
attendees under the age of 18 years
means-tested Government issued concession card holders. These include age pension, disability support pension, Newstart, supporting parent pension and seniors healthcare card holders
DVA Gold Card
Seniors card concessions are available only for concerts at Iwaki Auditorium (where available), St Patrick's Cathedral and Melbourne Town Hall performances.
School concessions are available to all parties of teachers, students and parents booking as one group in the name of a school for Geelong, Monash and Metropolis series concerts. Learn more about our programs for schools here.
Proof of eligibility for a concession must be shown at the time of purchase and be on hand at each performance. Concession tickets booked online must be collected at the performance with proof of eligibility presented.
Companion Card-holders are eligible for a complimentary companion ticket to all performances.
To book, please call our Box Office team on (03) 9929 9600, between the hours of 10am–6pm, Monday to Friday. Please note, Companion Card tickets can only be collected at the venue once a valid Companion Card has been presented.
Definitely. We offer discounts for groups of 10 or more attendees, unless otherwise specified*.
Group discounts are available for both subscription series and single ticket purchases. For subscriptions, you will pay one reserve lower than your ticket. For single ticket bookings, there is a 15% discount off the standard price.
*Some performances may not be available for group bookings.

Your safety and the safety of your fellow audience members is paramount. If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms we encourage you to contact the MSO Box Office at your earliest convenience. Requests must be received at least 3 hours before your scheduled performance time. Where possible, we will provide the option to exchange your ticket for another performance, or issue a gift card to the value of your ticket(s). Please note exchange/gift card requests are not considered finalised until confirmation has been provided by an MSO Box Office staff member.
