The Sidney Myer Music Bowl is a versatile, multi-purpose, outdoor venue set within the lush surrounds of Kings Domain. Part of Melbourne’s entertainment scene since 1959, this is the annual venue for MSO’s free Sidney Myer Music Bowl concerts over summer.

Parking is available nearby in the Arts Centre Melbourne/NGV car park, (Sturt St, Southbank) or at the Australian Ballet Centre car park (2 Kavanagh St, Southbank). Alternatively, there are various other parking facilities available elsewhere close by, including some on-street parking is available in the streets surrounding the Sidney Myer Music Bowl.
Flinders Street Train Station is the closest to Sidney Myer Music Bowl and is about a 15-minute walk from the station. For timetable information and trip planning visit PTV.
The Grant St/Police Memorial tram stop (Stop #17) is approximately 500 metres from the main entrance to the Sidney Myer Music Bowl. This stop is serviced by tram routes 3/3a, 5, 6, 16, 64, 67 and 72. For timetable information visit PTV or Yarra Trams.
The Sidney Myer Music Bowl is largely comprised of grass areas, with paths running across the lawn and throughout the wider Kings Domain Gardens. These paths form ramp access to the Bowl, allowing entry to all sections of the venue.
Spaces for wheelchair or scooter users are available in the Stalls and Balcony sections of the Bowl, all with companion seating available. For general admission performances these seats cannot be reserved, but are held for patrons with access requirements. Staff members at the entrance to the venue and in the Stalls section will be able to assist in finding these seats.

Accessible toilets are available at the rear of the venue, underneath the South Terrace/Lawn section.
Assistive listening devices are available for use throughout all sections of the Bowl and are free of charge. Connection can be achieved with standard headphones or with hearing aids via a neck loop. Devices can be borrowed from the Cloak Room at the entrance to the venue. Photo ID will be required when borrowing.

For general admission concerts, please speak to staff members at the entrance to the venue or in the Stalls section upon arrival.
